Project Global Officer for Persian and Arabic Studies
About
Project GO organizes a summer program for ROTC students who wish to study critical languages. Over the course of two months, students will participate in intensive language classes in Persian and Arabic to reach the highest level of proficiency possible. As part of this program, students will meet regularly with conversation partners, participate in cultural workshops, attend lectures on related topics and go on field trips around the DC area. The University of Maryland has Project GO programs available to study Arabic and Persian at the College Park campus as well as the opportunity for beginners to study Arabic in Meknes, Morocco. There are also programs available at Universities around the country and abroad for 12 other critical languages. See more at http://www.globalprofessionals.umd.edu/welcome-to-project-go
