Warrior Canine Connection Club

The purpose of the proposed Campus Service Dog/Puppy Raising Program, hereinafter referred to as Warrior Canine Connection at UMD, is to encourage volunteerism in the local community and promote opportunities for students to become involved with fundraising, internships, public education, and advocacy work for veterans, to help our recovering warriors reconnect with their life, their families, their communities, and each other. Individuals interested in joining Warrior Canine Connection at UMD would not be required to commit to raising a Warrior Canine Connection Dog and would be free to limit their membership to opportunities including, but not limited to, the following: fundraising, puppy hugging, puppy sitting, service projects, public education, and general promotion of the club.
